Yemi Alade – Double Double ft. Vtek (Video)

Yemi Alade introduces the official music video for her song “Double Double” which features singer and producer, Vtek.

The video for Double Double brilliantly captures the song’s theme of a traditional grass to grace narrative. The video for Double Double, directed by Clarence Peters, depicts an all-too-familiar story in African culture, in which a woman (played by Nollywood icon Ada Ameh) is shamed by her kinsmen for not providing male children for her husband; and, in a twist of fate, the said female child (played by Miss Alade) becomes the community’s most successful member.
