Olympic champion, Simone Biles withdraws from all round individual gymnastic final to focus on her mental health

The defending Champion of the all-around gymnastics, Simon Biles has withdrawn from the Tokyo Olympics final to focus on restoring her mental health.

On Wednesday, the USA officials announced that the young lady had withdrawn from the Tokyo Olympic tournament despite emerging as the finalist over her concern to restore her mental health.

She also in a public press conference with the team announced her urge to see that she restore her mental health claiming that there is no injury recorded via her health status but there is an important need to look after her mental health.

In her words, she said:

“No injury, thankfully … I think we’re just a little bit too stressed out, but we should be out here having fun, and sometimes that’s not the case.”
