“Don’t give what belongs to God to the poor” Ghanaian cleric cautions believers

A popular Ghanaian cleric identified as Rev. Bompah has cautioned his congregants to deter from giving the poor what belongs to God.

He made this vow during his last sermon where he detailed that congregants shouldn’t always be in haste to help the poor.

Adding to his claim, he outlined that some poor people don’t deserve any help while further backing up his utterance with the claim that they are poor because they are serving their repercussions.

He urged congregants to submit their tithes to God instead of giving them away to the poor.

This immediately caught public attention resulting in massive reactions and debates which have so far swerved heated.
