Israel ‘The Last Stylebender’ Adesanya born on the 22nd of July, 1989 is a Nigerian-born New Zealand based Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) sensation. Isreal is born in Lagos state to the family of Femi Adesanya, an Accountant, and Taiwo Adesanya a Nurse. The Last Stylebender has already made a huge impact in the UFC as he has proved himself to be the undisputed Middleweight Champion in less than two years.

Isreal Adesanya attended Chrisland School, Opebi where he enrolled for after school taekwondo lessons but was withdrawn by his mom after sustaining an injury.

He was inspired at the age of 18 to start kickboxing after seeing a martial arts movie, Ong-Bak.

He moved out of Nigeria at age 11 with his family to Ghana before relocating to Rotorua, New Zealand ten months after.

He has an 18-0 mixed martial art record with 14 victories coming by knockout and six of those have been in the UFC.

Isreal was a professional boxer before he started the mixed martial art(MMA) and made his debut in November 2014.

Isreal’s career was influenced by the level of bullying he experienced during high school.

Isreal Adesanya currently ranks 4th in the UFC men’s pound for pound.
